The future is now
Listening to a “the future of medicine” talk, specifically technology and medicine. Regarding surgical robots, the speaker looks out to all of us preclerks and says, “you know, if they didn’t cost so much I’d much rather prefer the robotic console instead. You students get tired, cranky, and the robot never talks back.”
Yikes.
Then he goes to talk about Robot Related Morbidity. All I can think about then is SkyNet, I Robot, and the Matrix-esque style machine uprisings starting in the hospital….
Yah. It’s a bit early and my mind’s clearly still messed up from studying all week.
